• Payroll Specialist

    Job Description
    This position is responsible for assisting in the payroll processing and benefit enrollment process for all
    BarFly Ventures, LLC employees. In addition, this role will provide support to the Human Resources
    Department.

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
    PAYROLL PROCESSING:
     Become proficient at and provide back-up support to the Payroll Manager with the payroll
    processing software, including:
     Enters payroll changes
     Enters SALMAN and BARFLY paydata batch
     Validates all sites before the payroll process begins
     Checks tip entries at all sites
     Creates import files for all sites
     Saves payroll reports from CTUIT
     Imports files into software
     Notifies payroll manager of any issues
     Provides notes of completed steps and issues in payroll totals spreadsheet
     Imports PAR/CAR, BarFly, Salaried Manager pay data batches
     Checks people at the sites for payroll preview
     Imports census, terms and hours information
     Helps Payroll Manager with monthly payroll balancing
     Manages payroll filing
     Processes reports for: paid sick leave accruals, active employees not paid, OT, Employer Benefit
    Cost, Anniversaries
     Process all Direct Deposit and ALINE Card changes

    OTHER:
     Processes FOC and/or any other garnishments
     Process all employee change forms in Aloha and ADP
     Handles verifications of employment
     Enters termination of employment information into HR systems, including benefit terms, as
    appropriate; files the paperwork; starts the checklist process to notify other departments for
    salary terms
     Follows through with new employees eligible for benefit enrollment, utilizing the Employee
    Navigator System
     Provides PTO updates for anniversaries and anniversary reports to Executive Assistant
     Assists with benefits open enrollment process
     Assists with W-2 mailings
     Provides scanning of HR files into digitized system
     Manages other HR/payroll projects, as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    Associates or bachelors degree in accounting and/or related business field, plus 1 – 2 years of
    experience or any similar combination of education and/or experience.
