    Job Overview
    We are currently looking for a Global Sourcing Manager to join our team in Holland, MI!  
     As a Global Sourcing Manager ~ Holland, MI, you will:
    Be responsible for management, planning, organization, process support, and performance of sourcing strategy globally. You will position Haworth for optimum supply chain value through selection of quality suppliers, face-based negotiations, and perforamnce-based contrating to protect Haworth's interests. You will also ensure compliance with company sustainability, risk management, and ethical standards while maintaining cost effective annual expenditures. 
    Do you have these required qualifications?
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Finance, Operations Management, Law, Economics, or International Relations.  
    • Certified Purchasing Manager Certification required or in process with completion date of less than 12 months. 
    • 10 years experience in materials management, sourcing, or operations role with progressivel levels of responsibility, including 5 years of supervisory experience. 
    • Current and continuing right to work in the United State without sponsorship. 
    • Ability to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance. 
    Do you have these preferred qualifications?
    • Masters degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Finance, Operations Management, Law, Economics, or International Relations.  
    • Minimum of 5 years of global experience in sourcing and materials management.
    • Experience with Procure to Pay systems.
    • Experience with Value Analysis and Value Engineering. 
    • Lean Manufacturing experience. 
    • Previous Haworth experience. 
    Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:
    • Demonstrated negotiation skills, particularly in highly competitive and demanding settings.
    • Ability to collaborate with suppliers to ensure cost and quality advantages. 
    • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, government agencies, and general public. 
    • Demonstrated ability to apply financial analysis principles to achieve superior budgetary results and effective allocation of internal/external resources. 
    • Working knowledge of Systems, Applications, Processes (SAP) system, lean processes, and Six Sigma. 
    • Practical knowledge of practices, relationships, and supply chain issues present when sourcing outside of North America.
