    Job Description

    This position is responsible for development and management of all areas of food service including sourcing, storage, and distribution of food, menu creation, recipe adherence, food safety, equipment and kitchen facility maintenance. Team building and staff oversite include providing staff culinary and food safety education, development, and supervision. This role oversees and assists with hands-on execution of daily guest meal periods and regular mission special events such as board meetings and luncheons. Responsibilities also include managing budgets, and producing accurate reporting data, as well as providing expert consultation for the development and implementation of culinary social enterprises.
    Bring your strengths: (Job Requirements)
    • Culinary Arts Degree, Bachelor’s in Business or Hospitality Management, or seven years related experience
    • Minimum of five years of food service management experience
    • ServSafe Certification and Allergen required, instructor status preferred
    • Excellent team leader, excels in building morale and creating accountability
    • Highly skilled in recipe creation, nutritional standards, ordering and budgeting
    • Proficient skill level in Microsoft Office suite
    • Highly organized, excellent attention to detail
    • Capable of managing multiple projects to standard and to deadline
