    Job Overview
    We are currently looking for a Seating Market Development Consultant to join our Product Line Management team in Holland MI - HQ.  
    As a Seating Market Development Consultant, you will:
    Support achievement of seating sales, market share, and dealer penetration in assigned market area.  Work with Haworth Dealers, Sales, and Global Accounts members within targeted market area to win strategic seating projects and grow overall Haworth seating sales.  Make client presentations and calls customers directly to close business.  Coordinate corporate resources, including Contract Development, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Tailored Solutions, and Scheduling, to win projects.  Develop dealer sales plans with dealers and local sales team.
    Do you have these required qualifications?
    • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years’ experience in Sales, Marketing, Product Line Management, Distribution Channel Management or Client Experience.
    • If no degree, 13 years’ experience in Sales, Marketing, Product Line Management, Distribution Channel Management or Client Experience
    • Working in dealer-based distribution channel
    • Ability to travel overnight away from corporate offices, including internationally, up to 50% of time
    • Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship
    • Ability to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance
    Do you have these preferred qualifications?
    • Working in the office furniture industry
    • Working in Sales
    Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills 
    • Must be enthusiastic, have a strong desire to succeed and never settle for second best
    • Ability to lift/move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
